Usage
Adjectives are used to describe or give more
information about nouns: "a
blue
car," "a sad teacher," "an
intelligent lion"

Adjectives are usually placed right before the noun they
are describing.
Adjectives can
come after the word they are describing; in this case, some form of the verb
be is used:
In English, adjectives do not agree with the gender or number of nouns.
"the tall
man/woman" (singular)
"the
tall men/women" (plural)
Sometimes adjectives end in
-ly . Don't confuse these with adverbs. "a friendly letter," "a lovely scene," "an early
train"
