Executive English Course Outline | The Unit | Set Tests
Set Tests
A set consists of four units so there are five set tests in the twenty-unit course. The first section of the test is composed of 32 multiple-choice questions that cover the structures and functions introduced in the the previous four units.

Each structure and each function is coded so that the system can keep track of the user's error pattern. Because each unit teaches one structure and one function, the set test analyzes 8 coded error types.

The second section of the set test checks the user's knowledge of the vocabulary taught in the previous 4 lessons. It consists of 10 fill-in-the-blank questions.

When the user submits her answers, the test is scored and test feedback is automatically generated. The feedback consists of two parts: 1) A display of the questions missed and an explanation of the correct answer and 2) Vocabulary feedback exercises. These are multiple choice questions to reinforce the vocabulary that the user had trouble with.
